Simon – Qualified Instructor & Wildlife Guide

Simon is a professionally qualified bushcraft instructor with a deep passion for traditional outdoor skills. With years of practical experience in firecraft, shelter building, knotwork, and wilderness living, he brings both expertise and a grounded teaching style to every course.

Simon is an experienced wildlife guide leading guided walks and talks throughout Britain and the Scottish Highlands. His knowledge of local flora, fauna, and ecosystems adds to the learning experience, helping participants fully experience nature.

Chris – Bushcraft Instructor & Traditional Skills Specialist

Chris brings a lifetime of hands-on experience to Raven Bushcraft. Taught from a young age by his father — a skilled woodsman in his own right — Chris grew up immersed in the rhythms and realities of outdoor life. That early foundation developed into a deep, instinctive understanding of traditional bushcraft, from firelighting and shelter building to tool use and woodland lore.

With a calm presence and a passion for passing on knowledge, Chris now shares his skills as a bushcraft instructor, helping others reconnect with the land and learn the time-tested techniques that shaped his own journey.
